Week Eleven

I can feel the pressure now that the final weeks are approaching and all the assignments are due in. Everything must be handed in for next week as I think its the final week as the one after has no classes. My CIT group project seems to be coming together as the teamwork applied by each of us has made a difference and we are sure to pass. However, I am finding networking to be the hardest subject of them all simple because I dont understand what is going on. I guess ill have to learn more in order to keep working through the next few years.

Week Ten

Lat week I handed up my two assignments for programming and networking. I hope to get high results for these assginments as they are worth a lot of percentage marks. Last week there was major floods outside my house which made it hard for me to go places so I just stayed in and got my work done. I played lots of video games too. I think I have an addiction to my playstation. aw well. I hope I do well for my exams. I hope their all before Christmas too because then I wont have to worry about them for a long time.

Week Nine

Last week I was working on my assignments for networking and programming. Im not getting very far to be honest but I also recieved an assignment in my problem solving class where I must make a game. My game will be based on a character which must go around shooting zombies in the 3rd person perseptive. I will be hard but I think it can be done. Im hopeing to get high marks for them. If i get enough percentage in these assignments then it will be a less of a worry during the Christmas exams. Christmas is coming soon and I cant wait for it to come. I love the holidays and this year the holidays are really long as we dont have to return until February. I cant wait.

Week Eight

Last week I was given two assinments which count as certain percentages of my over all end of semester exams. I am finding the difficult as I dont have a clue how to do half of them. One assinment is in networking and I have to create my own networking connection at home. Where as my assinment in programming means I have to make a program specific in detail. I also had a problem solving exam last week worth 30 percent which I think I did good in. I hope I passed anyway. This week I intend on doing my networking online exams at home as well as my programing online exams. My C.I.T. group assinment is starting to fall into place as my clues to the treasure hunt answers are now done but I intend on testing them on people and changing some clues in order to make it a bit harder for people to find. Im now into the full swing of college life and I hope to pass all my exams.

Week Seven

Last week was halloween week and all spookey goings on were interesting. Plenty of scary movies were seen. Some were just full of dead bodies to be honest (Friday the 13th) but they were good none the less. I dressed up as batman at a halloween party. It was fun cause my girlfriend was batgirl. very sexy....anyway. I was told by my programming teacher of an assignment worth marks of my overal exam. It looks difficult enough but we have plenty of time to get it done. Lat week was also the begining of my C.I.T. treasure hunt with my group. Our group seems to get on well as we are getting the work done. Hopefully it will be a good treasure hunt. who knows.

Week Six

This week I got some of my assesment results. I did quite well over all in my programming fundementals and calculations class with high results. The week was a long weekend with Friday and Monday off which was well needed for large amounts of sleep. College seems to be going well overall as I have gotten to know everybody and there doesnt seem to be any rivals among the class as everybody gets on well. Next week will be halloween and I plan on having a gud time. Bring on the weekend...

Week Five

The past week I was put under a bit more pressure to do work as I had to have an assignment handed in for my CIT class which didnt take me long but required a lot of revision of the company profile I was working for. I also had a test last Friday in problem solving which I think I did at least half well in. I was able to get through it and get everything done but im not sure if I got full marks. Next week I will also have more tests in Programing, Statistics and three exercise sheets to hand up in Computer Architecture. I am falling a bit behind in Networking but I intend to catch up this week by doing the online exams. College is kinda tough but its very do-able and i intend to pass all my exams at Christmas.....hopefully.

Week Four

This week was a bit of a wake up call as the talk of exam marks pushed me into actually doing the work. College is too over rated in my opinion. I didnt think there would be this much work to be done. Although I am starting to feel a different sense of freedom in comparison to secondary school. I have discovered that the cost of food in the college here is a bit expensive as I have absolutly no money left. It sucks not to have a job but i hope to have one soon as it is desperatly needed to be honest. Im freezing my ass off too and I hate the rain. But the Christmas holidays are longer then they would be in secondary school so I cant wait for the exams to be done and to relax again with no pressures. I never got a text from the music society so I can only assume that they took my number down wrong. Im not exactly bothered by that so I think Ill just leave it be...

Week Three

Last week was freshers week and I had joined in on a couple of the nights out in town. There was a traffic light discoon Tuesday night which was good as the were lots of people I know there. The was also a Killers tribute band in cubins on Thursday night. The band were very good. They even dressed like the killers. Thursday night was the freshers ball and there was several rooms open in cubins with several different events including karioke and a foam party. But now that freshers week is over I think its time to start working in my modules and get the work done so that i dont fall behind.

Week Two

Last week I learned more about the layout of the college and how things run. I also joined the music society which I am looking forward to. I am still however waiting for a text from the music society. I think they took my number down wrong....anyway. Next week is freshers week and im lookiing forward to the nights ahead. I also found out over the past week parking is near impossible to find when I wake up five minutes later.

Week One

Last week was the most eventful week of my life as it was the begining of something new. I was now a college student and I was expected to handle my own responsibilites from then on. It was my job to turn up to class when I need to of my own achord. Last week I was introduced to my class of around thirty one. We were then split into two classes, class A and class B. It was the the fact that I knew nobody at all in my class that made things exciting. We were then given and induction day where we were shown around the college and shown where to do several activities, like the gym or where we could sign up to societies such as music, poker and even paintballing. I also discovered that traffic in the mornings goint to C.I.T. was huge and that I would have to get up a lot earlier in order to be on time for class as i was late once.......or maybe twice. Parking is also imposible to find... However, I did manage to keep on top of things dispite the fact that I missed a couple of classes as my grads was on the same week and I was too hungover to come in. But, I havent fallen behind in work which is a positive thing. Im looking forward to the next few weeks to come as I am planing on joining a society and meeting new poeple. Hopefully they will be girls. My class is full of lads unfortunatly.
